Pre Conference Workshop.
We are delighted to offer you the opportunity to attend a workshop focusing on risk assesmen of youth and emerging adults, the YEARSS framework.
YEARSS is a violence risk assessment tool under development, only available in a beta-versjon for testing and evaluation. It aims at incorporating a more developmentally sensitive approach to assessment of violence risk in children, youth and emerging adults. It builds on new knowledge concerning brain maturation, social deveopment and the contextuality of youth violence, at the same time as its structure and procedure is within the very well established SPJ-procedure
This workshop aims to give you actionable insights into the complexities and nuances important to the understanding of risks and strengts in youth and emerging adults.
